Kara's Words

Rosie with Kara, her Mum
Rosie with Kara, her Mum

I don't see Rosie as an "Autistic girl". I see her as an ordinary 7 year old girl experiencing extraordinary neurological challenges - and sometimes great suffering. But she is still smiling and loving others, I have maximum respect for her, she is a truly remarkable person.

It's the greatest honour to be her mum, and to try to help her make sense of the world she is having such difficulty piecing together. And I would do 10,000 Full Montys to make it possible for her.

Raising £17,000 per year has been a huge challenge and I'm thrilled to say that we have finally won a battle with our local education authority and are now getting £12,000 each year towards the cost of the program. We now only need to raise £5,000 per year

Rosie is a truely inspirational person, an amazing 7 year old girl who has captured all our hearts. Her remarkable courage has inspired 5 ordinary women to go 'all out' in the persuit of a better life for her. I never stop being grateful that we did. Shes a different girl now, and to be able to give someone the gift of a better life is just priceless.

A big Thank You to everyone who has donated money and been involved in this extraordinary story, and best wishes to you all.

We have finally obtained funding of £12,000 of the £17,000 we need each year for Rosie's education. We still need to raise £5,000 per year for Rosie to continue on the program. If you'd like to make a donation it would be gratefully accepted. Click here to make a donation, however small.
It really is changing her life. Thank you.
